Some new embossing folders from Crafters Companion

Number 1

When  3 embossing folders came through the door I must admit I was very puzzled as to what to make of them!!!!! The 1st one out of the packet was a 12inch ruler/tape measure. I did have a light bulb moment with this one and set to work making 3 different cards. The 1st was using the Male Occupations CD from Crafters Companion I chose a very hunky workman with his hammer, printed of some of the backing papers and then ran some orange coordinations in the embossing machine through my Grand Calibur and then sanded it down very lightly and there you have it;

The second card was made using some images from the Crafters Companion female hobbies CD. I printed out the image of the manikin and then some co-ordinating backing paper and a cotton reel. I then again used coordiantaions in the embossing folder and lightly sanded it back and here is card number 2;

Now what to do for card number 3..mmmmmmm a Teacher came to mind thinking back to the days when I was a school and got hit with the ruler. I used the Crafters Companion female occupations CD which had a teacher on and here you have it card number 3 made using more coordiantions card in orange;

 So those are samples of number 1 embossing folder...number 2 to follow shortly. Thanks for stopping by xxx
