Crafters Companion Embossing folders number 2

This next folder from Crafters Companion was lovely to work with as the design is beautiful. I love butterflies and my business cards have several on so it was a pleasure to use this folder.

The 1st card was made using Centura pearl card and was put through the embossing folder in my Grand Calibur. I then used some pan pastels, a new purchase of mine, and went over the raised part of the image for a soft effect.To finish the card was mounted onto some coordinations card and then put onto a centura pearl card blank. number 1;

Card number 2 was slightly different and not so soft as number 1. I used a black piece of coordinations, ran it through the embossing folder in my grand Calibur and then lightly sanded to show up the embossed image. This was then mounted onto some white card and then attached to a black card blank. I then added several die cut butterflies in white card and a sentiment and a couple of roses to finish. Card number 2;

Card number 3 was easy as it used my favourite colours. I embossed a purple piece of coordinations and lightly sanded. This was the mounted onto more purple coordinations and then onto a 8X8 card blank which had been inked around the edges with some distress inks. Again i made a die cut butterfly and added a sentiment. Card number 3;
