Beatrix Potter is going to Germany

Crafters Companion are launching the beatrix Potter range over in Germany in a few weeks time so we were asked to make some samples using some of the paper crafting elements.

Here is my 1st sample that I made using 1 of the card blanks which I cut down to size and then matted and layered on some coordinations card.

I used the A4 Dottie embossing folder with some Centura pearl card and made it into a book type card.;

Inside I made a box using the centura pearl card and created an aperture and added some acetate. I used the Lace Border Die 4 and some coordinations card around the edge.

Inside are some napkins and I made some napkin rings from centura pearl card and added some of the Beatrix Potter Rub ons from the female range;

The perfect gift for someone special x

Sneaky peek number 3

Here is sneaky peek number 3 from the stunning new  Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady and Nature Notes from Crafters Companion which is been launched on Create and Craft on Monday as a 4 day deal..but somehow dont think it will last that long!!!

My make today went from a small idea into a huge project;

I made  a box using Centura Pearl cardstock and covered it with one of the papers from the Nature notes CD. I printed onto canvas paper so it adds a lot of texture to the box.

I then used a Lace border die 4 to create a rim to the box. I added some butterflies and paper flowers and then filled the box with cards, gift tags and bookmarks made from all the bits left over from making all my other samples..so in total took 2 days to make but was worth it;

Thanks for stopping by and be ready to get your order placed on monday as I think this is going to be a sell out!

Camden Town Sneaky Peek Number 4

This next card would be perfect for an Irish friend!!

The kit includes some stunning papers and card and this one with the clover leaves on was just perfect for  a good luck card but the kit also had the stunning good luck round topper. So with a bit of string and gold mirror card I created this round good luck card;

Camden Town Sneaky Peek Number 3

This is just something that little bit different.

I had one of the toppers left over from the Camden Town kit so I covered this little notebook in the stunning paper from the kit and then added the topper, some ribbon and some brown gardeners string. It would make a perfect gift;

Camden Town Sneaky Peek Number 2

Well here are my sneaky peeks number 2.....they are my 2 samples made using the stamp sets. There are 2 female stamp sets and 2 male and they are all must haves..but then isn't everything..lol.

I was allocated the wine bottle and glass as I am not the best colorer but was pleased with the finished results;

Card number 1 was a stepper card and I used the stamped images along with some of the toppers from the kit;

The 2nd card is an 8X8 and I used 1/2 of one of the shaped cards as a base and added my coloured images and again some of the toppers from the kit;

This Pick of The Week is great for all those crafters that are desperate for some help with male cards which for some reason are always so difficult to make. The ladies collection is also stunning but you will have to see the other DT members blogs for those. xxx

Camden Town Sneaky peeks 1

The wonderful team at Crafters Companion have done it again with another stunning pick of the week launch on Create and Craft TV from Friday.

Its what a lot of you have been asking for and comprises of 1 male and 1 female paper pack, embellishments and inserts/backing papers and stamps.!!!
Wow what are you going to do with all that.

I was given the male toppers and card pack with inserts to play with and i hope you like what i have to show you.

The 1st project is a card gift bag containing 5 cards....I should really be showing this at the end of the week as i made it with what I had left over from making my other cards.

I used 2 scalloped edged cards and cut into 2 and joined together to make the bag which I then decorated with one of the toppers and sentiment.

The 5 cards inside are all along the car/van theme and great for a male friend if you are stuck for  a gift!!

Dont forget to watch create and craft on Friday to see the stunning range in full. xxx
