Not long to go now....

Well the wait is almost over as this fantastic CD Angelica and Friends from Crafters Companion is been launched tomorrow. I have 2 sneaky peeks for you now....I am spoiling you, but i just loved this CD so much I got a bit carried away.....wait until you see what I have in store for you tomorrow...

The first design is not actually a card but a photo frame made from Centura pearl card. I cut out the aperture with a large spellbinders die and put to one side. I then got a piece of ivory card from the same card pack  and built up several layers of card at the back to give the frame some strength and also created its stand.

I placed my image which is just of the toppers section onto the ivory card, covered this with Acetate and then put on the front which has the aperture in. To finish I used one of the lovely ribbons from the cd and a couple of embellishments and to finish some lace and paper flowers.

This would be perfect for any little girl who loves her ballet

The next little project is a box made from centura pearl card using the Ultimate Pro. I decorated it with 2 spellbinder cut outs top and bottom and added on a couple of layers and then a topper from the CD. Some ribbon and  a few paper flowers and the box was complete but what to put in it????

The CD has some of the wonderful epiphany images on already sized to fit the correct tool. I have used Round 14 for this little charm bracelet, The charms come in a couple of designs for the round 14 but I just chose plain round 14 charms these were attached to some chain using some jump rings and a clasp was added, all from Beaders Companion. This would make a perfect gift for a little girl.

Thanks again for stopping by and dont miss my post tomorrow as I have a stunner of a project to share with you xxx

Todays the Day

Well todays the Day..the launch of Angelica and Friends. The wonderful CD and stamp collection from Crafters Companion is the 4 day deal on Create and Craft TV.

Todays sneaky peek is one of my favourite projects yet but it did take me a solid 13hrs in the craftroom to make it but I was determined to finish it so hubby supplied me with food and drink to keep me going so here it is;

This is a 13 page calendar book. Each month has its own page with its own image on. No image was repeated at all. Each page is its own individual work of art using toppers from the CD and backing papers which I used to back the pages so that each one was coordinated.

I used Centura pearl as the base for each page. All pages were cut out using the largest die from the Grand Labels 1 set from spellbinders. The front cover was made with some backing paper matted and layered onto Coordinations Card after been die cut using the smaller dies from the set. I then mounted  a topper from the CD onto some more coordinations which had both edges punched with a border punch. One of the stunning flowers from the CD was put onto the top left corner with a smaller paper flower on bottom right. A few gems to add some sparkle to finish.

I punched holes in each page using a hole punch and put eyelets into front and back pages for extra strength. Ribbon was then put through and tied in a bow.

Most of the embellishments were from the CD like these paper flowers

Paper roses and bow from CD

Paper rosets and bow from CD

Paper flowers from CD

More paper flowers and an added feather

Paper bow and flower

Paper bow and flower and punched butterflies

Paper flowers

A side view of all the pages

I must say I am delighted with the finished project and it was well worth all the time spent on it.
I hope you enjoy the shows on Create and Craft and keep a look out for my calendar book xxx

Sneaky peek number 4 from Angelica and friends

Not long to go now until Crafters Companion release there stunning brand new CD Angelica and Friends.

This Cd is pack with stunning images for all those girls in your life.

The card below is and easel card and is made using the Decoupage image from the CD. I matted and layered some of the stunning papers onto coordinations card. I used a Diesire lace border 1 on coordinations under the main image. Again another doily was used as they are just so pretty and feminine images and need something Lacey! With a bit of ribbon, a couple of paper flowers and gems and a ribbon border and sentiment from the CD the card was complete.

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting xx

Sneaky peek number 3

Here is another card from the stunning new CD from Crafters Companion. Angelica and Friends is just a real must have for the girls. The images are just so sweet and there is something for everyone.

This A4 card was made from the toppers sheet. I used coordinations as a base for all my matting and layering. I used the Diesire lace border 6 to cut out the lacey border next to the image. The corners are Diesire romantic swirls. Again I had to add something lacy so I used a white doily under the topper. To finish I added a sentiment, some paper flowers and the final finishing touch was a Epiphany oval with the matching image. This was attached by a jump ring and I used several pink pearls from Beaders Companion.

Thanks for stopping by and I will have another sneaky peek tomorrow

sneaky peak number 2

Here is another sneaky peek at what you can find on the wonderful new CD from Crafters Companion the wonderful Angelica and friends.

The card below was made using one of the card companions from the CD. Everything apart from the large piece of backing paper behind the main image was all printed out on one sheet of card. Great for those quick cards that we all need from time to time. A few gems were added for that extra bit of sparkle;

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting and remember another sneaky peak soon xxx

Angelica and friends sneaky peek number 1

 Just when we thought Crafters Companion could not get any better they come up with yet another stunning new range.

 Angelica and friends has the most adorable images that are just perfect for little and big girls alike. The papers on the CD are stunning as are all the usual contents, the epiphany, design sets, ribbons and this CD even has some large flowers which are just waiting to be printed out.

My 1st sneaky peek is a large A4 card that I made out of Centura pearl card . The image is from the toppers section and I then used some of the stunning coordinating papers from the CD.

 The image was just needing some lace and frills so I added some green lace behind the topper and a paper doily. One of the ribbon borders was put down the left hand side. To finish I printed and cut out some of the stunning large flowers which you can print in 3 sizes so there is one to suit any project. These were held together with brads from my stash and to finish I added some pearls and here you have it;
