For a special mom

Well with mothers Day fast approaching I thought I should crack on and make a card for my special mom;

I had some stunning House Mouse decoupage from  Joanna Sheen and as my mom loves flowers and mice I thought this image was just perfect.

The backing papers came with the decoupage so I just needed to add some matting and layering and embellishments.

I just hope she likes it...

Great News !!!

As many of you know I stepped aside from the Crafters Companion design team in Feb due to ill health and impending surgery. I had needed time off but sadly they had such a busy workload this was not an option so I stepped aside. To say I was  devastated was an understatement!

Well a few weeks later I was delighted to be asked by the lovely Lynda Chapman from Creative Crafting World to become one of her girls making samples for her TV launches on Create and Craft.  I was delighted and felt very privileged to be asked to work for such a great small crafting company.

Thankfully the workload is a lot less intense and Lynda has given me any time of that I may need when I finally get my surgery. So a big thank you to Lynda!!!

So hear is my 1st sample made from the Pollyanna Pickering Wildlife CD which launches on Monday at 8am!!!

So keep your eyes open for some more sneaky peeks from myself and the other lovely ladies and be sure to watch the shows starting on monday.
