Plain and Simple

Today may well be the last time I get to play in my craft room before I go into hospital on Monday for a 3 week long stay.....how am I going to cope with no crafting for that long thats all I am worried about..lol.

Todays card is just something plain and simple for a friends wedding anniversary.

I have used a Darice butterfly embossing folder from Crafters Companion and embossed some white Centura pearl card. I then matted and layered this onto some Ivory Centura pearl and then some more of the white.

The card base is also centura pearl . I added a die cut butterfly , some pearls and a sentiment to finish. Just plain and simple but very effective.

I will try and keep an eye on everyones blogs when i get chance over the next few weeks but look forward to coming home and catching up on all your stunning creations x

2 little Humhreys

A friend of mine has just had her 2nd baby boy and to say it was a speedy delivery is a bit of an understatement and it ended up with mom giving birth on the bathroom floor with dad racing up the stairs to help and just got there in time to deliver Mylo who is 8 pound 10 ounces!!!!!

This 1st card is for mom and dad to congratulate them on the arrival of their 2 little boy.

This 2nd card is for their almost 2 year bold little boy congratulating him on becoming a big brother as I don't want home to feel left out.

Both cards are made using the stamps from the Humphreys corner range from Crafters Companion They are coloured in using spectrum noirs and the backing papers are from my stash.

Reddy Decoupage

I was lucky enough to get some real bargains in Crafters Companions last sale and that included this wonderful Reddy die cut decoupage professions set. Sadly it is no longer available as i would certainly like to get some more as the images are such fun.

This is a get well card made for a friends dad who is in hospital. I am sure it will put a smile on his face x
